A tempting trio of Italian cheeses — mascarpone, Gorgonzola and Parmesan — are responsible for the marvellous flavour of this round loaf.
Add the water, egg and mascarpone to the pan. Reverse the order in which you add the wet and dry ingredients if necessary. Sprinkle over both types of flour, covering the water completely.
