Ingredients: 45 ml/3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil; 30 ml/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil; 7.5 ml/1½ tsp salt; 265 ml/9½ fl oz/1⅛ cup water; 22 ml/1½ tbsp skimmed milk powder; milk, for brushing (optional); 200 g/7 oz/1 cup canned chickpeas; 7.5 ml/1½ tsp drained fresh pink peppercorns in brine; 10 ml/2 tsp drained fresh green peppercorns in brine; 600 g/1 lb 5 oz/5¼ cups unbleached white bread flour; 5 ml/1 tsp easy bake (rapid-rise) dried yeast; 30 ml/2 tbsp skimmed milk powder; 15 ml/1 tbsp skimmed milk powder (non fat dry milk); 7.5 ml/1½ tsp granulated sugar; 200 ml/7 fl oz/⅞ cup water; 15 ml/1 tbsp drained fresh green peppercorns in brine; 175 g/6 oz/1 cup canned chickpeas; 10 ml/2 tsp drained fresh pink peppercorns in brine; 315 ml/11 fl oz/1⅓ cups water; 125 g/4½ oz/generous ⅔ cup canned chickpeas; 10 ml/2 tsp salt; 500 g/1 lb 2 oz/4½ cups unbleached white bread flour; 7.5 ml/1½ tsp easy bake dried yeast; 10 ml/2 tsp granulated sugar; 375 g/13 oz/3¼ cups unbleached white bread flour; 7.5 ml/1½ tsp drained fresh green peppercorns in brine; 15 ml/1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil; 5 ml/1 tsp salt

Method

Pour the water and extra virgin olive oil into the bread machine pan. Add the well-drained chickpeas. If the instructions for your bread machine specify that the yeast is to be placed in the pan first, then simply reverse the order in which you add the liquid and dry ingredients to the bread pan.
