Strawberries and chocolate are the ultimate indulgence. This light spongy cake is soaked in a wine and brandy syrup before being filled with succulent fresh strawberries to make an exquisite dessert.
Pour the milk and eggs into the bread pan. If your machine specifies that the yeast is to be placed in the pan first, reverse the order in which you add the liquid and dry ingredients.
Sift the flour and cocoa powder together. Sprinkle the mixture over the liquid in the pan, covering it completely. Place the salt, sugar and butter in separate corners.
