Ingredients: 50 g/2 oz/4 tbsp sugar; 7.5 ml/1½ tsp salt; 600 g/1 lb 5 oz/5¼ cups unbleached white bread flour; 200 ml/7 fl oz/⅞ cup milk; 15 ml/1 tbsp milk, for glazing; 7.5 ml/1½ tsp easy bake (rapid-rise) dried yeast; 25 g/1 oz/2 tbsp sugar; 2.5 ml/½ tsp salt; 375 g/13 oz/3¼ cups unbleached white bread flour; 75 g/3 oz/6 tbsp melted butter; 1 egg; 140 g/5 oz/⅝ cup melted butter; 280 ml/10 fl oz/1 cup + 3 tbsp milk; 7.5 ml/1½ tsp easy bake dried yeast; 40 g/1½ oz/3 tbsp sugar; 5 ml/1 tsp salt; 500 g/1 lb 2 oz/4½ cups unbleached white bread flour; 115 g/4 oz/½ cup melted butter; 2 eggs; 150 ml/5 fl oz/⅔ cup milk

Method

Pour the milk into the bread machine pan. Add the egg(s) and melted butter. If the instructions for your machine specify that the yeast is to be placed in first, reverse the order in which you add the liquid and the dry ingredients.
