Ingredients: 200 ml/7 fl oz/⅞ cup milk; 1 egg, lightly beaten; 105 ml/7 tbsp milk; 135 g/4¾ oz/scant ½ cup crunchy peanut butter; 75 g/3 oz/¼ cup crunchy peanut butter; 65 g/2½ oz/⅓ cup caster (superfine) sugar; 75 g/3 oz/scant ½ cup caster sugar; 200 g/7 oz/1¾ cups self-raising (self-rising) flour; 115 g/4 oz/⅓ cup crunchy peanut butter; 175 ml/6 fl oz/¾ cup milk; 400 g/14 oz/3½ cups self-raising flour; 2 eggs, lightly beaten; 300 g/10½ oz/generous 2½ cups self-raising flour; 125 g/4½ oz/scant ¾ cup caster sugar

Method

Remove the kneading blade from the bread machine pan, if it is detachable, then line the base of the pan with baking parchment.
Cream the peanut butter and sugar in a bowl together until light and fluffy, then gradually beat in the egg(s).
