When I was 10 years old, we stayed in one of the most iconic buildings of the HK skyline, the Shun Tak Centre. At the base of the building was the ferry terminal where you could catch a hydrofoil to Macau, which was once a Portuguese colony and popularized one of Portugal’s most famous desserts: the pastel de nata, egg custard tarts.
