Cheese scones are great, but cacio e pepe scones—a riff on the beloved Roman pasta dish—are exceptional. Salty pecorino and plenty of black pepper imbue these savory bite-size treats with a lot of flavor. They are perfect paired with egg dishes or a fresh salad, or just eaten right out of the oven.
