Here, pan-seared pork sausage links are oven-glazed with a mixture of apple cider and honey, which caramelizes the exterior and adds tangy sweetness to the sausages. They make a wonderful side dish for breakfast or brunch during fall and winter.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (120 ml) apple cider
  • 2 tbsp light honey

Method

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). In a small bowl, stir together the cider and honey. Set aside.

In a large ovenproof frying pan, melt the butter over medium-high heat. When the butter foams, add the sausages and cook, turning occasionally, until browned, 7–8 minutes.
