Our favorite homemade pizza crust is made with a Neapolitan-style dough, producing a thin and crispy crust. The thyme and fennel seed give it an extra something special.

Ingredients

  • cups bread flour
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon

Method

  1. Whisk together flour, salt, fennel, thyme, and yeast in a large mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer. With an electric mixer on low speed, mix in oil and cold water until no dry flour remains. Switch to the dough hook and mix on medium speed (or knead by hand) for 5 to 7 minutes, or until dough is smooth and slightly sticky. Add more flour as needed; the dough should
