Sangria is the perfect refreshment on a hot summer day. This recipe combines the best of spring and summer: sweet ripe strawberries and succulent peaches, plus elderflower liqueur for a unique floral character. It’s essential to make the sangria ahead of time to allow the flavors to fully develop.
Combine wine, strawberries, oranges, peaches, orange juice, liqueur, and lemon juice in a large pitcher. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. To serve, pour over ice and top each drink with a splash of soda water.
