There’s a good reason oatmeal is such a welcome and satisfying breakfast option: it’s healthy, hearty, and comes together quickly. Since you can dress it up so many different ways, oatmeal can be enjoyed several days a week. Serving oatmeal with warm milk makes it irresistibly creamy.

Ingredients

  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 cups (185 g) rolled oats

Method

In a saucepan, combine cups (810 ml) water and the salt. Place over high heat and bring to a boil, then stir in the oats. Reduce the heat to medium and cook, stirring occasionally, until the oatmeal is
