  • About

Did Vikings brew beer? Of course they did. Beerologists are unsure about exactly what would’ve gone into a Viking’s brew, but most agree it would probably have been something like the Finnish drink sahti. This fearsome ale features various grains, including rye, and is filtered through juniper twigs. We’ve used berries for our juniper dosage, which contributes to some intense sharp and fruity flavours rounded off with a dry, bitter finish. This striking Viking ale is not one for the meek.</
