Sift the dry ingredients together; in a separate bowl combine the wet ingredients. Mix the dry with the wet ingredients. The consistency should be that of a thick gruel. Fill the muffin cups very full to overflowing. Place the muffin pan on a baking sheet to catch the drips.
Bake at 350°F. (300°F. in a convection oven) for approximately 35 minutes or until the muffins brown and are set
