Broccoli has always been the hardest vegetable for me to warm up to. After all my years avoiding it, I tried to give it a second chance when I became vegan. I tried many ways of preparing it, and all my experimenting led to three conclusions: 1) broccoli is best when roasted, 2) it is great when cloaked in a thick sauce as a disguise, and 3) grains make good company for it.
