Gorse is a vibrant wildflower that blooms throughout the spring and summer months and has the most beautiful coconut-y scent. It has a distinctive malted sweetness and goes perfectly with oats. Just be careful when foraging for it yourself – it lives alongside very sharp thorns and can be a bit tricky to pick. If you have no access to gorse flowers, these will still be delicious!
