  • ¾ cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar

Method

Preheat the oven to 325°F. Butter and flour a 9-inch round springform pan.

In a food processor, pulse the nuts with 1 tablespoon of the sugar until very finely ground. Transfer to a medium bowl and add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk to combine. Set aside.
