These lovely, light soft rolls are simple to make: You can put the bowl in the refrigerator overnight for the second rise, then shape and bake them the morning of your jam making. And they’re just about the best thing to slather with warm jam scraped from the bottom of the preserving pan after the full jars have gone into the boiling-water bath. They make for cute little sandwiches and hamburgers, too, and store well in a resealable plastic bag.
