From the handwritten recipe notebook derek gave me before we were married come these perfect southern biscuits. The recipe is from our friend Jenny Smith, of Atlanta. Officially, White Lily flour, made from soft winter wheat and much fluffier and finer than other brands, is essential in creating light-as-air biscuits. Off the record, these will still be great if you use another brand of all-purpose flour.
