  • 2 cups (1 dry pint) cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 large scallions, including most of the green parts, finely chopped


In a medium bowl, combine the tomatoes, scallions, and basil leaves. Drizzle on the oil and vinegar, season to taste with salt and pepper, toss, and refrigerate for about an hour. Taste to adjust the flavors.
