  • About

Toasting brings out the flavor of nuts, gilding their color and adding crunch. Cheeses with a nutty flavor, like Beaufort, pair well with both almonds and walnuts, while Stilton is a classic with walnuts. Serve with a cluster of grapes or slices of pear or apple.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (500 g) walnuts or almonds
  • 1 Tbsp sea salt

Method

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). In a bowl, mix together the nuts, salt, and rosemary, if using.

Spread the nuts in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Place in the oven and toast, stir
