Spicy Egg Salad Sandwich

As a big fan of mayo, I’ve always enjoyed eating (and making) egg salad. Hard-boiled eggs, smashed with creamy mayo with sprinkles of sugar for a subtle sweetness at the end, are sandwiched in between cloudlike slices of milk bread. It’s genuinely one of the most satisfying snacks, perfect at any given time of the day, whether it’s at 1 p.m. as a lunch or 1 a.m. after a night of drinking.

Thanks to a spicy, umami-forward chili crisp, the white-and-yellow egg salad turns a beautiful
