Chinese Pea Shoots in Sesame and Garlic

  • 1 teaspoon peanut oil
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed and finely chopped
  • 10½ oz pea shoots, trimmed, washed well and dried (or use spinach)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • pinch of salt


  1. Heat a wok over high heat, add the oil. Stir fry the garlic for less than 1 minute, add the pea shoots and stir fry until slightly wilted. Add the sesame oil and salt and serve immediately.
