Having grown up in northern China, these are a staple for me, and I can crave them at any time of the day. My grandma makes the best ones and always freezes the extras to give to family members. The super-crispy and -thin dough is stuffed with a hearty, savory filling made with Chinese chives (also known as garlic chives) and tofu. They’re easier to make than pot stickers and have all the goodness of dumplings—only they’re more satisfying to eat!
