Spicy Wontons in Red Oil

I had many versions of this dish growing up, and I was blown away when I finally tried it in Sichuan, where it originated. This recipe includes the most scrumptious hot sauce, mimicking the flavor of the street food you can get in Sichuan. The homemade seasoned sweet soy sauce is highly recommended because it contains a lot of spices and has a better taste. It is also less sweet than bottled sauce.
