  • 1 lb. of broccoli
  • 5 or 6 tablespoons of oil
  • 3 or 4 cloves of garlic, salt and pepper.


Cook the broccoli in boiling salted water and, when tender, remove and drain thoroughly. Chop coarsely and put the oil in a frying pan. When hot, add the cloves of garlic, and when these begin to brown, add the broccoli, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
