6 or 8 large green or red sweet peppers (paprikas)
1cupful of rice
2 or 3tomatoes
½pint of sour cream, stock or water
Cut the top off the paprikas and remove the seeds. Cut 1 or 2 of them into strips. Cook in hot goose dripping, with the chopped onion, the peeled tomatoes and the rice, which should be moistened with alittle water or stock.
Cook till the rice is soft, mix in the sour cream and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring well. Stuff the paprikas with the mixture and serve with rice.
