Ingredients

  • ½ lb. of flour
  • 6 ozs. of butter
  • 3 pints of milk
  • 1 gill of water, salt.

Method

Melt the butter in a saucepan, stir in the flour and add gradually the boiling milk and water, stirring continuously. Season with a little salt and simmer for 10 minutes. This is eaten with fruit-juice, sugar and cinnamon.
