  • lbs. of pears
  • 2 ozs. of pearl barley

Method

Put the pearl barley in the boiling milk and simmer for 1 hour. Then add the pears, peeled and quartered, and simmer for another 15 minutes. Serve and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
