This recipe is slightly different from that for plain waffles.

In this, 12 ozs. of flour are mixed with 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 6 tablespoons of sugar, and the whole sifted. Then 2 well-beaten eggs are added, tablespoons of melted butter, and 1½ ozs. of chocolate, melted in a little water. Beat all well together and cook as in the other recipe for waffles.
