Potato Bhurtha

Ingredients

  • 8 or 10 boiled potatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 or 2 green chillies, the juice of ½ a lemon, or more according to taste, salt.

Method

Slice the onion and chillies very finely and sprinkle with the lemon juice. Mash the cold boiled potatoes thoroughly, and mix with the onion and chillies. The mixture should be quite smooth and free from lumps. This is served cold, either with cold meat, curry or rice.
