Method

Sopa de Quimgombo is made with that delicious vegetable, okra, probably of African origin, but now cultivated in all tropical countries. This soup consists of strong vegetable stock, thickened with a little manioc flour, in which sliced okras, from which the stems have been removed, are simmered till tender.
