As the title suggests, this is a dish cooked in the hunting shires. Whether for a hunt breakfast or to await your weary and wet return, it is quite delicious.

Ingredients

  • 900 g boned and rolled brisket
  • 900 ml light ale
  • 1

Method

Put the brisket in a pan with the ale and all the other ingredients. Bring to the boil and simmer for 2½-3 hours. Remove from the pan and leave to cool.
