Remove the seeds from the dried peppers and chilli and soak for 30 minutes in cold water. Drain and dry. Fry the bread in 1 tbsp of the oil until golden brown on both sides. Remove to the food-processor bowl. Fry the peppers a second or two in a drop more oil and transfer to the bowl with the chilli, garlic and nuts.
