Hardly a dish for a restaurant, but surprisingly good given the humdrum-looking ingredients, and without the chillis finds favour with children (ours, anyway). It wouldn’t upset me too much if I never ate another standalone chilli (i.e. unless in something like chilli con carne or chorizo) but the little kick of mild chilli gives a useful edge to this dish.
