Even though soy bean milk is available in cartons in Chinese stores, more and more Chinese who live abroad prefer to make their own at home, since all that is required is an electric blender or liquidiser and a bag made of muslin, say about 25 × 30 cm (10 × 12 in), with the opening on the shorter side.
