This Italian flag–inspired spin on a Baked Alaska is more about quality ingredients and assembly, and less about cooking, which is my preferred approach to making dessert. If you don’t have a kitchen torch, get one! They’re fun, inexpensive, and they make you feel fierce in the kitchen. —K.M.
