Place all the ingredients except the coffee into a warmed shallow pan (or chafing dish) and ignite the contents. (Use a match, not a lighter for this.) Stir well until mixed. After a minute or two, slowly pour the flaming brandy into hot coffee and continue to stir. Bring the serving-bowl, still flaming, into a darkened room. As the flame subsides, ladle the contents into demitasse cups
