This dish is traditionally made on the stovetop with thin slices of boned leg of lamb. Here I’ve chicken on the bone and cooked it in the oven, because I find it much easier, and the result is tastier. However, if you’d like to use lamb, just replace the chicken. Everything else remains the same.
