This simple salad is delicious by itself, or with meatballs or kababs.


  • 3 romaine lettuce hearts


  1. Place the lettuce in a large container of water. Add 2 tablespoons vinegar and allow to soak for 10 minutes. Drain, rinse and dry thoroughly, then shred the leaves thinly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients for the dressing and mix well with a fork. Add the shredded lettuce and toss thoroughly. Adjust the seasoning to taste. Nush-e joon!
