This delicate Kermani cookie is filled with nuts and dates, and stamped with a traditional design. It is much sought after by the locals. I have adapted it here from an Amin family recipe.

  1. For the dough: Place the butter, milk, egg yolks, and orange blossom water in the bowl of a food processor and mix until creamy. Sift together 3½ cups/420 g of the flour with the baking powder and powdered sugar, add to the food processor, and mix for about 6 minutes unt
