  1. Fill a large pot with water to a depth of 6in/15cm and bring to a boil over hight heat, then add the lobster or crab, head first, (using gloves and tongs), cover the pot immediately, and boil for 13 to 15 minutes (shells will turn orange). Drain and allow to cool. Remove the meat using nut crackers and thin forks.
