  • About

Around the Persian Gulf these tropical and subtropical winter fruits have a perfume similar to lemon skin, and you can eat them raw like apples, with or without the skin. Their high pectin content makes them ideal for using in a preserve.

Ingredients

syrup

  • cups/900 g sugar

Method

  1. Sterilize a 1pt/480 g jar in boiling water. Drain and allow to dry completely.
  2. For the syrup: Place the sugar and 2 cups/480 ml water in a heavy-bottomed saucepan
