Danish Hamburgers with Fried Onions and Lentil Salad

These burgers are true Danish ‘sliders’; and I think that this is really a man’s dish at heart. But what can I say… I think there’s a man in all of us somewhere!

The hakkebøf is delicious, classically served with the soft fried onions and lentils. It is also just as good the next day, chopped up and added to a tomato sauce to go with pasta, if you have some leftover burgers.
