This is a classic and deeply loved Danish everyday dish. It’s perfect for when you have any kind of leftover meat to use up, or even a mixture of leftover meats. It’s one of my favourite dinners, and one I have enjoyed since I was a child. It is also one of my children’s absolute favourite dishes. I am a great believer in trying never to waste anything, and to recycle whenever possible.
