My Mother’s Food Bread

When my darling godmother, Kirsten, asked me recently if I remembered my mother’s savoury food bread, which I had last had when I was 11, I was instantly hit by a recollection of the smell and flavour of these buns. Now that I’ve followed my mother’s recipe, the aroma and taste of my food bread were identical to my imagination and it felt like my mother was in the room with me again. How precious and special to feel like someone passed is with us again and again.
