  • 180 g ( oz/¾ cup) raw cane sugar

Method

Line a small tin (pan) with baking (parchment) paper.

Place the sugar, butter, condensed milk, liquorice syrup and salt in a saucepan over a low heat, allowing the ingredients to melt together. Once melted, bring to a simmer and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring regularly.
