The sweetness of pineapple is greatly enhanced by the creamy vanilla sauce with just a hint of maple syrup to bridge all the flavors. This is a dessert that simply explodes in the mouth.

Ingredients

Vanilla Tea Crème Anglaise

  • 1 cup/240 milliliters 2 percent milk
  • 1 cup<

Method

Bring the milk and cream to a boil, then add the sugar and tea leaves. Remove from heat and infuse for 30 minutes. Sieve out the solids through a fine-meshed sieve and return liquid to a clean saucepan. Reheat until hot and then remove ½ cup/120
