Nonna Nina Labruna’s Cherries in Sweet Wine

This sweet cherry sauce is easy to prepare, especially if using frozen cherries, and is magical on top of gelato or even with some panna cotta. Vin Santo is a sweet wine from Tuscany, where Nonna Nina is from, and it is smooth and sweet when paired with the slightly sour cherries.
