  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups turkey broth
  • Salt to taste, if necessary
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste


  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and, using a wire whisk, stir in the flour. When blended, add the broth, stirring vigorously with a whisk.

  2. When the mixture is blended and smooth, season it to taste with salt and pepper.
