  • 2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup

Method

Place the water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the salt and rice and cover tightly. Reduce the heat and simmer gently for 20 to 25 minutes. At this point all the water should be absorbed and the rice tender.
